Abdullah Gandu, governor of the state of Kano, said his government spent 208 million Naira on the purchase of 5,200 tea-sellers in the state.
The announcement was announced on Saturday during the training program at Vano House, Kano.
He said that it was a gesture to help improve the users' means of living and those of their defendants.
"Our government is so important to the training program because eventually the users will be self-sufficient, improving the economic ability of the state," he said.
Each Governor has assigned a value of N40,000 to training programs - drink, pasta, noodles, margarine, eggs and cooking oil - to enhance their activities.
Ganduje also urged recipients to keep their business environment.
He then recommended tea suppliers to avoid unauthorized by-products and other related crimes.
Murtala Sulengaro, State Secretary for Local Affairs, said the program was designed to improve her standard of living.
He praised the governor for his anticipation of youth empowerment in the state.
But Sani, who spoke on behalf of the user, thanked the governor on the gesture and promised to use the articles wisely.
